RESOLVE & CANE HILL + ACRES + HALF ME
on their “HUMAN” EU/UK TOUR 2024

RESOLVE
Support: Cane Hill + Acres + Half Me

CANE HILL

For centuries, authors, painters, poets, and filmmakers have sought out the edges of consciousness. Often equally euphoric and nightmarish, the psyche’s outer limits transform into a powerful, albeit fickle muse. While writing their second full-length album Too Far Gone [Rise Records], Cane Hill pushed those limits psychologically, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, coming back from the precipice with ten unforgettable stories masquerading as hook-heavy metallic swamp grunge.

A year of insane experiences, the Louisiana quartet

emerge with a dark, disruptive, defiant, and definitive body of work. Whether beautiful, ugly, brilliant, or brutal, each moment elicits a response in the end. “When people hear this, I’d just like them to feel anything.” “You can make mistakes, change, and push forward. The recognition can make you a better person. Don’t let the past define you. That’s the story.”

ACRES

Following the incredible success and adoration received from 2019’s stunning debut ‘Lonely World’, a record that harnessed melody and melancholy to devastatingly gorgeous effect, Acres found themselves playing the biggest shows of their career so far and achieving things they had only previously dreamt about.

But when the world around them suddenly felt so uncertain, they had a choice to make of what they should do next. Instead of rushing out with something that they didn’t fully believe, they locked themselves away and painstakingly created something that not only represented where they had been but also where they wanted to end up.

The result is ‘Burning Throne’, a crushing, cathartic and perfectly crafted account of what it means to stare into your own oblivion and learn about who you really are from it. Not only showcasing some of the band’s heaviest material to date but also their most poignant and honest, it is a body of work that the band have injected every ounce of their soul into as well something that they are immensely proud to have as a vital part of their story.

HALF ME

A depraved mind; seeking forgiveness; shifting from delusion to purpose; finding solace in acceptance.

Hailing from Hamburg, Germany, Half Me are one of the newest additions to the Arising Empire roster. The band alternates from gut wrenching breakdowns to brutal riffs and merciless, yet elegant vocals all while blending in 90's nu-metal highlights and audio samples.

Debuting with five singles, the release of 'Exitwound' (featuring Jack Bergin of Void Of Vision) [2021] has landed the band in the spotlight of KNOTFEST’s “Countdown to Oblivion“ and garnered editorial media attention.

With 'Trauma Culture' released later that year, it was 'Wraith' and 'Half Me' [2022] that had the band span their creative prowess and formulate the significance of both brutality and reconciliation in their sound.

Continuously provoking divergent responses from personalities such as Nick Hipa (Ex-As I Lay Dying) , Chris Turner (Oceans Ate Alaska) and JT Carvey (ERRA) on Nic Nocturnal’s stream, has rightfully brought the band to the forefront of the international scene.

Half Me has their sights set on releasing the highly anticipated debut album 'Soma' and are sure to make it worth the wait. The latest installment 'Ex Negativo' featuring Marcus Lundqvist of thrown was released in January 2023. With their dedication to crafting a fresh sound and their determined work ethic, they are a band to keep an eye out for.
